ISO & SGS 9001 Information

ISO is the International Organisation for Standardisation, a worldwide federation of national standards bodies. The aim of the ISO is to promote the adoption of a process approach in developing, implementing and improving the effectiveness of a quality management system, all to enhance customer satisfaction by meeting customer requirements. This means that all areas of the business must think about the customers that they serve, both internal and external. Each area must consider how they can add value and maximise performance and effectiveness, to try and improve the process. Ultimately, all areas should be working together to improve the service that is offered to the end customer. So what does ISO mean for our customers? ISO gives you the confidence to know that our products have been produced to the highest and most consistent standard, and should anything go wrong you can be sure that there is a process in place to resolve issues as quickly as possible. Although we now have the ISO accreditation, there is still a continuous cycle of audits and corrective actions that must take place, to maintain a continually high standard and constant cycle of improvement.
