Always at the forefront of research and development, Plastico has been working to bring to the market a biodegradable material that we believe will offer unique benefits. Unlike other materials on the market this does NOT affect the physical nature of the products and does NOT dissolve or degrade in use, especially with hot foods and drinks. A cellulose additive has been developed, which when mixed with the material makes it biodegradable. This leaves the physical properties of the product unchanged so that it looks and feels the same as any standard product. Once the product is in contact with the soil, the degradation process begins. Total disintegration will take place within two years. The products can be stored in temperatures from 0 to 50 degrees centigrade.
