Plastico is a name synonymous with quality. To guarantee that our processes and production meet the highest standards we work to stict industry guidelines. To this end we have several affiliations which include The British Retail Consortium, The International Standards Organisation and the Suppliers Ethical Data Exchange. In addition to this Plastico is also a member of the British Promotional Association which ensures best practice in the production of products for the promotional industry. Since 2004 Plastico has also been approved as self verifiers by The National Weights and Measures, so that all glasses manufacturered by Plastico can be sold as CE marked.

Plastico is the proud holder of the International Organization of Standards’ ISO 9001:2008 certificate. This shows that we have the quality management systems necessary to consistently meet customers’ needs as well as meet the applicable regulatory requirements.

BRC
Plastico is accredited with The Global Standard For packaging And Packaging Materials. Developed by the British Retail Consortium (BRC), a UK trade organization that represents the interests of the UK retailers, in conjunction with the Institute of Packaging, the BRC/IoP Global Standard - Packaging and Other Packaging Materials was developed to assist retailers and manufacturers in meeting their legal obligations.

Plastico have been assesses and approved as meeting the requirements of Directive 2004/22/EC on Measuring Instruments, Annex MI-008 Chapter II - Capacity serving measures for Annex E1 DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY BASED ON QUALITY ASSURANCE OF FINAL PRODUCT INSPECTION AND TESTING
in respect of line and brim capacity serving measures, as detailed in the technical file retained by the manufacture and copied to the notified body.

The FoodService Packaging Association has, for over 30 years, promoted the interests in the U.K. of food service packaging used to serve food and beverages to the public among distributors, manufacturers and their buyers (restaurants and caterers).
